Ed and I both grew up outside of SW Philadelphia and went to high school together. We began dating after graduation on July 9, 1999. The two of us graduated from Penn State University in 2003 – him with a degree in Communications and I with my Elementary Education degree and certification. We became engaged that year, as well, and were married at the beautiful and historic Mendenhall Inn in Chadds Ford, PA, on July 16, 2005. Ed is an inventory control analyst and I taught Kindergarten for two years in Allentown, PA before becoming the Preschool Director and Lead Teacher for a church preschool program in Emmaus, PA. We bought our first home, an 1895 townhouse, in a teeny town in Berks County, PA, and we love living the country life! I’m a nut about researching the history of our town, so you’re sure to see many posts on the blog about it, LOL! Our lives were extremely blessed on July 15, 2006 when God’s greatest gift to us, our daughter, was born. I am now a very blessed stay-at-home mother to Mary-Grace Rose, also known as the vivacious and very huggable Gracie, a total daddy’s girl.
Some of our favorite things to do as a family include grilling (that’s Daddy’s fav!
), support the Philadelphia Eagles, visit Disneyworld (not as often as I’d like, haha, but we LOVE it there!), take long walks, laugh, and simply be together in God’s grace and enjoy the life that He has blessed us with.
Since I’m a self-admitted digital camera junkie, you guys know that I have to share a run-down of pics, LOL!
